In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves operates an RPG-7 rocket launcher. Well, kind of. This RPG-7 Trainer is a unit that was demiled, but the fire control unit was reactivated and the launcher restored to being operable.

The launcher is itself a destructive device, and it fires a subcaliber unit housed within an inert rocket which is chambered in 7.62x39mm. The rocket subcaliber unit is considered a firearm by itself. The rifling in the subcaliber unit is polygonal and over-bored, which allows additional blow-by of the propellant gasses. With tracer 7.62x39mm trainer rounds, the RPG-7 gives the 7.62mm projectile the same trajectory as a real RPG-7 rocket propelled grenade.
