This is Otto Warmbier. An American college student and tourist whose trip to North Korea turned into an actual nightmare. In 2016, he was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in a North Korean prison camp for a seemingly innocent crime that many believe... he didn't even commit. After his sentencing, all communication with the outside world was cut off.
