ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO:
Apple cider vinegar is very safe for our dogs with many benefits and with that in mind here's 5 benefits of using apple cider vinegar with your dog.
1 The great thing about using apple cider vinegar around a dog household environment is that your reducing pesticide use and keeping things natural. The vast majority of household cleaning products contain toxic ingredients not even labeled, containing a laundry list of artificial fragrances, acids, bleach, ammonia and many more that have been linked to neurological problems, hormonal issues, and cancer.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs Itchy Skin
2 Apple cider vinegar relieves your dogs itchy skin caused by yeast overgrowth or reactions with pollens or plants like poison ivy when out running about. Mix up a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar with water and add to a spray bottle to apply directly to the problem area, just don't use on cracked skin or open wounds. You can also swab problem areas with a cloth or sponge to soothe your dog and bring relief.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Itchy Dog Paws
3 Apple cider vinegar has excellent yeast fighting abilities, something many kibble fed dogs suffer with. Add 1 teaspoon to your dogs drinking water for internal cleansing and help neutralize your dogs PH levels. You can also add a 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon to your dogs meals daily to help break down yeasts in your dogs body and reduce itchy skin and paws.
Apple Cider Vinegar in Dogs Drinking Water
Some dog parents note that adding a half teaspoon for smaller dogs and one teaspoon for larger dogs to a meal or into their water bowl in the morning improves digestion for the day, supports stabilizing weight, and encourages a dog’s ability to absorb nutrients from his food.
Apple cider vinegar has also been shown to help with boosting your dogs immune system and lowering cholesterol by detoxing the kidneys.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs Ears
4 Apple cider vinegar makes a great ear wash to clean out yeasty ears. Mix apple cider vinegar with water in equal proportions to make a natural antiseptic and swab out the ears of debris until clean. It's natural to have some wax in the ear but when your dogs ears become gunky or there's debris, it's time to clean them out.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs Fleas
5 Apple cider vinegar makes a great natural flea and tick repellant. Before outdoor activities, spray your dog all over with a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water. And for flea and tick season, add 1 tablespoon to your medium sized dogs water bowl and 1 tablespoon to the food bowl.
