Road Records are great for family history research. They can be a huge help in finding where your ancestors lived. They can also help confirm census records when you see the same neighbors on census records and in road records. You'll often find them at the state archives or at the county level either in the courthouse or libraries. In some cases, you may find books where they have been indexed.
