I use a Millenium MPS 850 electronic kit purchased from Thomann UK. This kit is routed through a Komplete Audio 6 interface, which I use to run the kit in Cubase Elements. The primary VST kits I use are GGD PIV and GGD OKW Modern Fusion.

Disclaimer:
When producing drum covers, I like to think of them more as “playthroughs”. To me, that means I keep the original spirit of the drum part, while taking some creative liberty. I respect the beats and important fills/ hits in the song, but there’s always room for color. Sometimes that means more complexity, sometimes it means simplifying. Whatever it is, this is my interpretation of the music. This is not a declaration that what I play is better than the original part or more appropriate, it is simply a different take based on how I would play it.
