now the plot thickens,
Let's introduce a disturbance
now that we've set the scene:
Enter the girl

Long blonde flowing hair, the smell of
Chocolate and shampoo,
She kisses one and greets the other
as old friends usually do
But tonight there's something different, something's
hanging in the air,
A subtle hint, and untold truth, and a
spark that threatens to burst it into flames

An accidental word, a misplaced joke or
just the drinks?
The one who goes down first is always
the one who takes too long to swing
But action's irreversible, so he
better be damn sure he knows
What's happening for real and what's just
a young lover's protective fantasy
