We stayed in MyCUBE by MYSTAYS Asakusa Kuramae. Some people might argue that this place isn't luxury, and if you believe that I can only imagine the kind of places you are used to staying in. Because this place was absolute luxury. Big storage space to lock your belongings away, comfy mattress, individual safe, little shelf, ability to watch TV quietly at night, great amenities, and individual vanities, etc.. This place kind of blew our minds with how nice it was.


We got off the ferry from Tomakomai, Hokkaido and made our way back to Tokyo. It was a long trip back into Tokyo but we did survive. For a 1am first meal of the day (we snacked all day so we definitely weren't starved), we tried gyudon. It became Brianna's favorite cheap meal. It also wasn't the last time we ended up eating gyudon in the early AM hours (we stayed overnight in a manga cafe and ate there (Episode 143)).

About Us


We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.


These laidback Youtube videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
