Move to Sensor Position is a position control mode that does not require homing. Simply wire a sensor in series with input A and wire a sensor in series with input B. Turning on input A requests clockwise motion and turning on input B requests counter-clockwise motion. When the stage hits a sensor, the input signal will be interrupted, causing the axis to smoothly ramp to a stop.
If you haven't had the time to wire in your sensors yet, you can use the software override feature on ClearPath's MSP (Motor Setup Program) to test and experiment before completing any wiring.
Use MSP to define motion parameters such as velocity, acceleration, and RAS.
