Corsair retired the only Boeing 747 left in their fleet today, flying it from Paris Orly to Kemble for scrapping. It was certainly given a memorable sendoff, with an incredible low pass feet above the runway, followed by an amazing climbout before coming back round for its last ever landing. To top off the sendoff to this iconic Jumbo, the crew waved the flag of France out of the hatch on top of the aircraft; certainly a very poignant moment in the history of Corsair and no doubt an emotional moment for the crew onboard.
This video was filmed at Cotswold Airport (Kemble) - 15th June 2020. 🌍
