On this day, we had a wet landing in a bay with a hike. That means you start out with either bare feet or sandals, but you take your walking boots with you and change shoes on the beach. This requires a small backpack, the type that you might have your camera in anyway, but with enough room for hiking boots and socks (and a towel is recommended).

Note: Hertigruten provides light brown colored towels for you to take with you on wet landings. All the other towels are beautiful soft White, but are not for the beach.

Later in the day we returned to the same bay for beach access snorkeling. There are not many fish in this bay, but that is perhaps because of the large number of Sea Lions keeping the fish at bay.

Today we realized that our helmet mounted cameras were not capturing all of the action, so we stopped using the handheld GoPros and move to handheld instead.

The laughter you hear is mostly because the Sea Lions play with you while you are swimming with them. You cannot see it on camera, but they come and pull on your swimming fins with their mouths. Some of the Sea Lions get a little too excited and at one point in the video you will see one come and try to grab my camera from my diving helmet. They behave a lot like dogs, if they get to close then you just reprimand them with a kind brush away.
