Peace family, back with another video where I am honoring the life, legacy, and work of Mr. Henry Sylvester Williams the progenitor of the Pan-African movement and originator of the term Pan-Africanism.
William was a Trinidadian lawyer, activist, writer, and principal organizer of the first Pan-African conference held at Westminster Town Hall in London, England from July 23-25, 1900. He was also the first Black person to practice law in South Africa, and remained vested in African liberation at home and abroad until his death in 1911 at the age of 42.
