How to make National Daighi Danedar Haleem | Muharrum Special Recipe at home.
INGREDIENTS
Boneless meat 1 kg
Onion 3-4 thin sliced
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
Oil 1 cup
National Daighi Danedar Haleem Recipe & Lentil Mix 2 Packets
Water 12 glasses
SOAK:-
Soak the contents of National Daighi Danedar Haleem Recipe and Lentil Mix packet "A" in water
For 1-2 hours. Then drain thoroughly.
BOIL:-
Boil the soaked lentils and cereals in 12 cups of water until soft. Coarse grind or mash the mixture gently and set aside.
FRY:-
Fry Onions in hot oil until golden. Set aside half of the fried onions and oil. Add ginger garlic paste, National Daighi Danedar Haleem Recipe & Lentil Mix 2 Packet "B" and meat. Stir-fry on medium heat for 5-7 mins.
COOK:-
Add 7-8 cups of water. Cover and cook on low heat for 60-90 mins. Then shred or mash the cooked meat with a wooden hand masher. Add the mashed lentils and cereals and cook for another 30-40 mins on low hat while stirring frequently.
SERVE:-
Pour the remaining oil and fried onions over the Haleem. Serve with National Chaat Masala, julienne ginger, lemon wedges, fresh coriander and mint leaves.
