Mark Spoon was a pseudonym used by Markus Löffel (born 27 November 1966, Frankfurt am Main, Germany - died 11 January 2006, Berlin, Germany), a German DJ, musician and record producer.
He began his DJ career in 1984 and was well known in the international dance scene. Together with Rolf Ellmer (aka Jam El Mar) he was behind the popular dance/trance project Jam & Spoon. They produced various hits such as Stella, Right In The Night, Find Me and Be Angeled. Besides the Jam & Spoon project, Mark was involved in other popular dance projects such as Storm, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy and Big Room. During the years Mark made remixes for artists and bands such as Paul van Dyk, Dr. Alban, Moby, Technotronic, Enigma, Deep Forest, Age Of Love, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and many more.

In 1992 Kai Corell lived in Ibiza for a year and was a resident in Space, played there 5 times a week and played at three other closings in the following years. He had other guest appearances in Ibiza in Pacha, Privilege, Amnesia and KM5.
From 1993 he was 5 years with Marc Spoon Resident at Dorian Gray in Frankfurt at the airport, 2 years Resident at Prodo X in Darmstadt and as a permanent representative for Frank Lorber DJ Dag in Sven Väth’s Club “Omen” in Frankfurt. Overall, he did the HR3 Clubnight 3 times and played until 2000 at major events such as the Love Parade in Berlin, plus many well-known clubs in Germany and some more in Europe.
