Usually the periods symptoms we expect during the periods. But then there can be symptoms of periods without actually bleeding. Now this can be a part of PMS, premenstrual syndrome or it can be a pregnancy, either ways. So premenstrual syndrome is a situation where before the actual bleeding there are symptoms like headache, body pain, acnes, mood changes, breast tenderness, bloating. So these are all features which can accompany just before period and during period. So it can be a part of PMS or premenstrual syndrome or it can be a pregnancy because even if there is delayed period with symptom of breast tenderness, little bloating, heaviness, vomiting sensation, nausea or mood changes. So these may be part of pregnancy. So either ways we need to rule out pregnancy and then diagnose PMS in case if it is required and treat accordingly.
