October 4, 2014 - Catherine Ann Dougan (Ironside MMA) and Montana Stewart (Genesis) compete in the Adult Female Blue Belt Lightweight Semi-Final at FIVE GI.NOGI GRAPPLING's Texas 2 Open Championship. This tournament was held at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas and was the eighth qualifier for the North American Invitational Championship (NAIC), to be held in Miami, Florida on November 8, 2014. The historic NAIC event will showcase the top athletes who competed at FIVE events in 2014. Only athletes who placed on the podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd) at any FIVE regional event in 2014 will have qualified for invitation to the National Championship. Events across North America (California, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Illinois, Ontario) serve as regional qualifiers for the first ever, invitation-only, Gi and NoGi North American Championship.
