This algorithm generates steel drum-like tones. It's quite a specific algorithm, which has a lot of constraints to keep the tones generated "on-topic", but was too much fun to leave out. The synth in the video is a Kiwi-3P. The PG-2K uses different patch generator algorithms for stock JX3P and Kiwi modded 3P synths.
