When i collected this matured Male Atrax Robustus (for the Australian Reptile Park's venom milking program) from someone that kindly got in contact me though my dedicated Sydney Funnel Web Spider facebook Page (link to page below).
He had fluff and dog hair caught on his legs. Here's a rare videoclip of me grooming him with a pair of insulated feeding tongs.
As you can see, he was very, very well behaved and actually appreciated what i was doing for him.
This highly Venomous species is globally known for their temperaments and here is a side of them that a lot of people don't know about and haven't seen before. Enjoy..
