Kate and Jim head up to Judith Peak near Lewiston, Mt. to hunt for Montana black "diamonds." The beautiful smoky quartz crystals are unique to this area, because perfect specimens are symmetrical - a double-terminated, 12-sided crystal with a central band. Although this is Kate's first time searching for the crystal, she finds a few examples, enjoys some beautiful scenery, and learns a great deal. Come on along to see the famous Montana "diamond!"
