I am playing a composition by Japanese composer Mayumi Kato. There can be not much found about her but the most important thing we know is: Her style is distinct and beautiful, her pieces often challenging. She manages to transport nostalgia and playfulness at the same time. I also like how her Japanese descent is transported through her style. Her music is truly full of life and beauty.
