Pediatric cardiac arrests, either in- or out of the hospital are rare and yet crucial events. Evidence based treatment guidelines intend to guide high-quality CPR and post-arrest-care for our small patients. Unfortunately, significant lack of evidence to support pediatric guidelines has been repeatedly identified by ILCOR. Pediatric CPR registries might offer relevant data to help to close these existing knowledge gaps.
