This build illustrates that it is possible to manual bolt lock the W&S BCG set with a 2-stage compound recoil guide compared to using the W&S recoil guide while achieving the same "upgrade" of increasing the cyclic rate back to around 600RPM.

This build was eventually binned though as I subsequently discovered that the front trunnion was misaligned ever so slightly that the bucking was indeed pinched
