Welcome to this 20 minute unguided meditation with timer. Tibetan Chimes mark the start and end point of the meditation. With the relaxing sounds of beach waves to help with focus if you find silence difficult with meditation to begin with. This 20 minutes can help you take a little time out of your day to relax, breathe and find a moment of calm. It may also help if you are feeling anxious or needing to ground yourself after or during a panic attack.
The timer grows and shrinks in time to 4-4-4-4 box breathing. As it grows, inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4 and hold for 4 before repeating. You can also use this simply for deeper inhales and exhales if holding the breath isn't your thing.
DISCLAIMER: If deep breathing makes you light headed or dizzy, instead please return to your normal breathing pattern.
