The OBS Best Recording Settings 2020 Guide will go through the setup to have 1080p 60fps and NO LAG. For those of you with a slightly lower end or older PC or a single PC setup I discuss some alternatives and the best areas to take down some of the in OBS settings for the best recordings on low end PCs as well.

We'll discuss things like "what bitrate should I have when recording" and which to choose from with CQP or VBR for the best settings possible. Some of you with the newer nVidia graphics cards will benefit from the updated nvenc encoder that we'll go over as well as talk about the default x264, which is perfectly fine still!

There's lots of changes to technology with the nVidia cards and as people get newer PCs and dual PC setups the recording gets easier and easier, but you low end PC aren't so much on the low end anymore compared to those with dated computers a few years ago.
