Even before we set foot in the state of Michigan, we knew the objective of our first hunt. From the onset of shooting light, every flock of geese we worked, and every shot we took was measured and with a purpose. In classic early season fashion, we took a mid day break, grabbed a bite to eat, and after a few quick adjustments in the afternoon, we were back on high alert for the birds we were looking for. As time slipped quickly away, we finally got our chance in the last few minutes of light, and we made the most of our opportunity. Needless to say, this hunt will be one we remember for a long time.
