Located wild burr oak (Quercus macrocarpa) seedlings in the floodplain of Pushaw Stream, dug them up, and transplanted them to Brownie's Park, Orono, Maine, to replace a knotweed infestation killed last year. Should have been done a bit earlier in the season, but we've been busy! Illustrates installation of brush blankets and Tubex tree tubes. Correction: "macrocarpa" refers to the large seed, not the large sinus in the leaf.
