Date of Travel: 2 October 2019
Class of Travel: Economy Class
Cost of Ticket: £309.87 (Round trip from Inverness to New York)
Other Info:
Both departure and arrival were on time. In my experience, Delta are a very punctual airline and I am yet to experience any sort of delay with them!
If you're taking a night flight with Delta and you have a window seat, then you are asked that you shut your window blinds to ensure darkness is maintained within the cabin to allow people to sleep. This is presumably enforced on the Boeing 787 as the crew can control all windows on that aircraft type (unlike on the Airbus A330 I was on!)
There was no "true" Premium Economy (or Premium Select as Delta call it) on this particular A330. The only class of travel between regular economy and business class (Delta One,) was Delta Comfort+. These seats were also laid out in a 2+4+2 configuration with the only difference being a few inches of extra legroom and the seat had better padding than the regular economy seats. Delta Comfort+ passengers also get priorety boarding allowing them to be the next passengers to board after business class.
