Rarely do you hear New Zealand’s coastline getting hyped up in the same way as it’s larger neighbour Australia, or even it’s compared to it’s own mountainous landscape. After visiting Hahei, I was baffled as to why this is the case.
Of all the places I visited during my time in New Zealand, Hahei was the most surprising, and easily one of my favourite stops. It’s a super laid back little town, with beaches to rival those in Australia (better in my opinion) and is home to the famous Cathedral Cove, one of New Zealand’s postcard shots.
I was so fond of the place I decided to make a short video explaining what I got up to and showing off the sights Hahei has to offer.
