First released back in 1991, 'The Whistle Song' is now firmly cemented in House music history and to coincide with the 25th anniversary of DefMix, Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper -- as Director's Cut -- have revisited the track to give it a subtle 2012 twist.

A real classic, beautifully updated by the original artists is a rare thing and the 'Re-Directed' version of 'The Whistle Song' from Director's Cut has been heavily supported since its release in October. Nocturnal Groove are now set to launch the new remix from Italian masters Supernova who carve out a deep, slick, rolling re-work that respectfully cultivates the original production parts to form a contemporary mix that will smash the dance floor.
