This is the quickest and easiest way I have found to make a perfectly square hamburger patty that will fit nicely in the freezer or on the barbecue grill. After the burger patties are frozen they can be quickly and easily thawed to use In other recipes such as spaghetti, Chile or meatloaf or even sloppy Joe's.

Many people have asked the question, why are Wendy's hamburgers square? I'm not sure if this is how Wendy's started making their old-fashioned hamburgers, but my family has been doing it this way for years, so I just thought I would pass on the tradition.
