This tutorial is aimed at Metal Detectorists in the UK and around the world.
It provides ways to create better lidar maps, elevation data and incorperate old maps from ordnance survey, as well as georefference paper maps, plus create target traces you can export to use on your phone out in the field.
The aim is to provide a clearer picture of permissions and land than can be provided by online LIDAR sources and provide a way to build working projects of your permissions for research.
All software and sources are free and opensource.
