For Energy Transfer co-CEOs Tom Long and Mackie McCrea, 2023 has been a record-setting year across several of its business segments. Under their leadership, the company has broken records in its NGL segment for total exports and volumes transported. In its midstream sector, total volumes gathered set a record in the second quarter.
Both Long and McCrea attribute Energy Transfer’s success to their team, who travel the globe looking for opportunities to expand their operations and exports in the most financially sustainable way possible. According to Long and McCrea, the company has a significant role to play in providing reliable energy sources such as natural gas, to areas outside the U.S. that do not currently have access to clean burning fuels.
