The Soddy Daisy Volunteer Fire Department was called out to an intense car fire early Monday morning.It happened at 9607 Barebee Rd. about 2 am. When police officers arrived they found two cars on fire just feet away from two mobile homes. Firefighters extinguished the flames quickly. The mobile homes were protected and no injuries were reported. There is no word on the cause of the fire.Photos by Brent McDonald, NewsChannel 9
