C-Mount Lenses on a GH2 can be a lot of fun. But unfortunately, some lenses will not focus infinity. Thats because the lens will not go deep enough into the adapter and into the camera. The distance to the sensor is quite often only a 1 or 2 millimeter to far. Some lenses can be machined. But this takes always the risk to damage the lens.
The Schneider Variogon 12.5-75mm can be modified very easy to focus infinity. All that is been needed is al very tiny screwdriver. This Lens is a optical precision instrument for industrial uses. The Aperture of 1.8 is very fast for a zoom lens. Especially if you remember that the zoom range on a GH2 or GH3 will result in 65mm-390mm equivalent, to a 35mm format.
