This is the third flight of my new Kraken 580 helicopter. I am still testing, so the flying is all kind of the same and lame. But, I wanted to post this so you can see what I go through in tuning. So, while I fly these basic flips and rolls, and pitch pumps, I am thinking in my mind what I would change about how the helicopter feels. with a stationary roll for example, I know my roll rate was set to 400 in this video in my Brain2. So, I thought it was slow, but almost good enough, so I took mental note, and turned that up just now to 410. Pitch rate is the same. I also felt my tail was too slow at 580 for rotation rate, so I just turned that up to 610. I was only using one agility bank too, so I have adjusted 3 banks for agility and gain . All bank gains are 44, and I am 55, 65, and 75 for the agility banks. My expo is stock default setting at -20 (yes, it's backward of Spektrum numbers to soften it) for aileron , elevator and rudder in the Brain 2. I like the headspeed at 2100 for Normal, and the 2350rpm felt comfortable in the box, but ya know, I think the 2500rpm in this video is just too high, and it can barely hold that rpm on 6s. So I am going back to 2450rpm governed by the Brain 2 with my Hobbywing 130amp v4. It will cool my battery alittle, and I will be able to handle the heli in the box better like I fly. The Spektrum A5070 mini servos are holding just fine, and I am definitely saving weight by using them. Get these awesome servos at HorizonHobby.com, and you can buy the Kraken at BKhobbies.com. This new set up looks like it's going to be the ticket to some awesome flights. I'll get into it a little harder this weekend at my air field. Buy some bad ass Spektrum servos right here: [ Ссылка ]
