Did you know that speech therapists also deal with swallowing and voice issues???
Even my closest friends and family don't usually know what I do as a speech-language pathologist (SLP). So in this video, I'll briefly go through the following disorders we deal with as SLPs:
speech disorders, language disorders, social communication disorders, cognitive linguistic disorders, swallowing disorders, voice disorders, as well as use of AAC.
There are also other disorders and work I didn't get to cover here such as: aural rehab, accent modification, cleft palate, etc.
