This Holiday cocktail is so delicious, you'll want to make it year-round.

Spicy Pomegranate-Cranberry Margarita:

Ingredients

Spicy Pomegranate-Cranberry Margarita
2 tablespoons pomegranate cranberry compote (see recipe below)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce fresh orange juice
4 ounces tequila
Ice

Pomegranate-Cranberry Ice Cubes
1 large cube silicone mold
Hot water
Pomegranate seeds
Fresh cranberries

Pomegranate-Cranberry Compote
1 cup fresh cranberries
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (depending on how spicy you like it)
1/4 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 orange, zested and juiced
2-4 tablespoons water


Instructions

Spicy Pomegranate-Cranberry Margarita
In a cocktail shaker, muddle compote and top with remaining ingredients.
Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until chilled.
Strain into an old fashioned glass with a few pomegranate-cranberry ice cubes.

Pomegranate-Cranberry Ice Cubes
Drop a few pomegranate seeds and cranberries into ice mold.
Top with hot water.
Freeze until firm.

Pomegranate-Cranberry Compote
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook for 10-12 minutes until cranberries pop and mixture is reduced to a syrup.
Allow to cool completely before using in cocktail.
