Tips for Twisting Corridors as Fury:
I don't know every other class, so this will be mainly focused around fury warriors but some general advice for others:
Step 1:
Buy every upgrade you can for Torghast from the Maw (I only had a few of them, when I went back and bought all the others, the available powers skyrocketed, I finished with over 110 anima powers for Layer 8)
You can zone in and out of Twisting Coridors to reset your starting anima power (You have to finish floor 1 in normal Torghast)
You need to bait specific powers. Survivability matters a lot. If you can fish the 50% health maw rat one, you're pretty much golden.
As a warrior (or other class that has something similar) you want to try and get a phantasma generator before floor 6. This will let you continue to buy out the vendor for 10+ anima powers each time. For warriors it is tied to our victory rush, I think warlocks have a maelific rupture? It is an incredibly important anima power to have early on.
Condemn knocks target down for .5 seconds - This ability is a defensive, and incredibly important. You're able to ignore a lot more mechanics because you stop them from happening.
You want to focus as much haste as possible if you can, getting condemn down to less than 2.6 sec cast will stop almost every ability in the game. (Be sure to use lust for bosses)
Focus +health options, the more health you have, the less you'll spike the more you'll survive.
Ravenous Anima Cell: There are two incredibly important targets to use. #1 important is Archer/Infiltrator, using it on them will give you 10-20 souls (10-20% strength) #2 is fire elementals (65% fire damage absorb). The 2nd one is incredibly important as it nearly invalidates the fire torment, and a lot of mobs.
Consumables work, flask, pots, lust, oils, etc. Don't be afraid to use them.
Layer 1-8 took me around 12 hours, I went pretty casually on most of them.
