This is part of a comparison between the original Soundblaster Emulation included with DOSBox and the Roland MT-32 MIDI mode. I attempted this with Timidity++ (a guide for setup may be found here: [ Ссылка ]... ) but this caused DOSBox to hang, though it worked quite well in ScummVM. Instead I'm using a combination of SAVIHost ( [ Ссылка ]... ) and SFZ Player's DLL file ( [ Ссылка ]... ) with MIDI Yoke to loop the midi out from DOSBox to SAVIHost. The SoundFont I'm using is Real Font v2.1, though other ones would also be compatible. This may sound complicated, but it required very little work. I figured out how to do it more or less with this guide: [ Ссылка ]... which enabled me to get rid of Vista's nasty default MIDI synthesis. Any issues where the sound seems to skip are issues with the video/audio capture and not with the audio. Sorry about those. Martian Dreams is also a great game and I recommend you try it.
