In this introduction to Godot tutorial video I go through the process of recreating the most basic Minecraft functionality in the Godot game engine. We learn how to navigate through the Godot editor; how to set up a first person character controller; how to use Godot's GridMap to set up a block system; and how to use a RayCast to place and destroy blocks. This tutorial is made for people with no previous Godot experience, but it is also useful for people who just haven't made any 3D games yet.
This crash course was made in Godot 4.2.1
