Burbank-Valley Garden Club presents Diane Shader Smith discussing her daughter's life and the book that is based on her journals. Mallory Smith was a gifted environmental writer who, despite living her life with the struggle that is cystic fibrosis, achieved much and left behind an important legacy. Mallory is also the author of THE GOTTLIEB NATIVE GARDEN, a california love story.
For anyone who loves nature, loves a garden, loves life, Mallory's story is inspirational and reinforcing. To help her young child who was first diagnosed at three years, Diane wrote a book to help young children understand what cystic fibrosis is, I HAVE THREE ROSES. In this presentation Diane tells and shows us Mallory's life and the many life lessons therein.
