The most beautiful waterfall I've ever seen. We started towards #Manthoka_waterfall on the early morning day-2, a beautiful stream of water falling down from the mountain of #Kharmang_valley. It was an awesome journey throughout to having stopped at Gol village, at the confluence of world's highest mountain ranges and longest rivers, travel alongside Indus river and Kargil road up to Manthoka waterfall.
This waterfall is located in Kharmang district of Skardu, Baltistan. Many streams of water including "Bara Pani" terminate in the valley of Kharmang and offer amazing views to its viewers before disappearing in the river Indus.
From the confluence of Himalaya, Hindukush and Karakuram mountains ranges, right turn took us to Manthoka while straight road leads to Khaplu after crossing bridge at Indus river. The river flowing from Khaplu valley is named "Shyok river" and originating from Laddakh, a disputed territory among India and China. Indus tributaries are in Siachen, Deosai plains and Kharmang valley, Pakistan.
In short we had a good time at Abshar view restaurant with cup tea and snacks before we left for the Shigar cold desert.
