In this episode of BBQ Basics, I'm showing you how to reverse sear tri tip steak over charcoal. You can use this method with any charcoal grill, pellet grill, or even a gas grill.
Smoking the steak initially builds an incredible wood-fired flavor, finished with a hard sear to add a crispy crust.
