Cream Puffs / Princess Donuts; a recipe that always succeeds
- cook 250ml water with 50g butter
- mix 150g flour with 30g corn starch
- combine two mixtures
- add 4 eggs
- start mixing using dough hooks than use regular beaters
- add 1 pack of backing powder
- drop the dough into 2-3 cm mounds
- bake at 200°C, 20 min
- puffs can be made smaller (once baked they can also be frozen)
cream preparation
- mix together 400ml heavy whipping cream with 60g powder sugar
- 2 packs vanilla sugar
- 4 packs whipped cream stabilizer
- sprinkle with some powder sugar
