The Heber Valley Railroad is a heritage railroad based in Heber City, Utah. It operates passenger excursion trains along a line between Heber City and railroad line is approximately 16 miles long and ends at Deer Creek reservoir and Dam which is located in Provo Canyon. The HVRX carries over 110,000 passengers a year.
This 2 hr round trip offers incredible views of the Wasatch mountains and the wide open vistas of Deer Creek reservoir. Most days Watch out, there are frequent train robberies on board! The line has been around since 1899!
