Pre Pilates helps beginners to understand your own body before you start practicing Pilates movements. Pre Pilates exercises aim to improve posture, relieving neck and shoulder tension, and strengthening the upper body and legs. Once you have sound preparation and technique for a successful Pilates practice, you can move onto the beginner level classes.
In this class, we are breaking down the fundamental level pilates exercises for absolute beginners. We will begin with a breathing technique and the transversus abdominis engagement, seated, and in supine. The modification of the exercises will train your core to gain your inner strength before diving into the traditional pilates exercises.
This class is not suitable for postnatal mothers or anyone with diastasis recti.
