#BOTD Louise Brooks is an American silent film star known for her bob hairstyle and iconic flapper costumes. Her influence and legacy reaches far beyond American shores.

He mentioned director Augusto Genina who cast Brooks in his 1930 film “Prix de Beauté” (Miss Europe) and artist Guido Crepax who was inspired by Brooks to create his iconic 1960s character, Valentina, featured in a series of books and comic strips.
