This educational video is a part of the multilingual Ymmärrä Suomea (Understanding Finland) video series for immigrants. The videos are intended for adult immigrants residing in Finland and are suitable for use as study materials. The topics of the videos are: 1) Applying for jobs and working in Finland; 2) Taxation and how the welfare society operates; 3) Democracy and influence in society; 4) Human rights, equal rights and non-discrimination; 5) Honour-based violence; 6) Rights of the child and education; and 7) What is the average Finn like. The video series was produced in Uusimaa ELY Centre's Home in Finland project in 2020 (ESF) and created by Stremia Oy.
