Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard at The Magnolia in San Diego. Feb. 27, 2022

Eddie Vedder and the Earthlings concluded their tour in San Diego late late late last Sunday night, 11:30pm late, & it was one hellofa show.
I was beyond thrilled to see Glen Hansard both open the show, solo he's a damn revelation, then slide into his "Earthling" duties. If you ever get a chance please please see him live.
Then, for 2.5 hours, Eddie Vedder and The Earthlings, compromised of Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, guitarist Glen Hansard, former RHCP/current Pearl Jam touring multi-instrumentalist Josh Klinghoffer, Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney and guitarist/shreader Andrew Watt, simply crushed it.
You may not have know this, Eddie basically grew up in Encinitas attending San Dieguito High School then after a short stint in Chicago lived and worked in La Jolla, Old Town and La Mesa before moving to Seattle. The Magnolia was a dream of his to play at, a dream he and we lived last night.
