In 1972, a chartered plane from the Uruguayan Air Force carrying a rugby team from Montevideo Uruguay to Santiago Chile crashed in the high Andes Mountains. During the following 72 days, the survivors suffered numerous hardships, including exposure, starvation, and an avalanche. Some resorted to Anthropophagy. Survivor, Eduardo Strauch, recounts the miraculous story along the way to the crash site 50 years after the accident.
