The evening of Mahalaya was spent blissfully at Kedar Bhavan , Bally, amidst hymns and Namkirtan.
This video shows the rendition of 'Bajlo tomar Alor Benu' by Sudipta Bhai.
Kedar Bhavan happens to be the noteworthy address of Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev's leela-- the residence of Sri Padmalochan Mukhopadhyaya and Laxmi Ma, where many leelas of Sitaram had been enacted.
A recap of the Master's leela--
Sri Padmalochan Mukherjee was critically ill [Padmalochanji was Thakur’s dear disciple, and His father (SriPranhari Chattopadhyaya) in previous birth]. On hearing the news, Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnathdev rushed to Kolkata by flight. Thakur’s close disciple Sri Shyamal Bose [Howrah] accompanied Thakur from airport to Calcutta Medical College. When they approached cabin Number 4, the Foreigner Nurse Sister G.Wood said-- , 'You are too late, the man is dead.' And he showed me his closed fist and he said, 'no,he is
here.' Thakur then entered the cabin—the dead body was wrapped in white cloth from head to toe. Thakur instructed the white cloth to be removed, and so was done. The body of Padmalochan ji was cold—it seemed quite some time has passed after his ‘death’. Thakur touced the corpse, and laid on the body, and time passed as Shyamal Bose guarded the cabin door. When Thakur gave permission, Shyamal Bose came in and saw that Padmalochanji was alive—the body was warm! In a gesture of anger, Thakur said—“Call the Doctor Babas!” The eminent doctor devotees like Dr Naliniranjan Sengupta , Dr Pranab Mukhopadhayya , Dr Umesh Chakrabarti etc came there, many doctors of that hospital also rushed to that cabin! Some threw their stethoscopes and were sitting on the cabin floor, some were lingering in the balcony—the scene was beyond imagination! Many journalists also rushed to the spot… many patients came out of their wards to get Thakur’s Darshan! At around 4pm, the Principal came, he prostrated at the gate and then offered homage to Thakur, and said—“How is this possible?” Sri Sri Thakur, Personified Image of divine Leela, stated—“Everything is possible by Lord’s grace”. [This incident has been narrated by Sri Shyamal Bose himself.]
The foreigner Nurse had later expressed her thoughts in writing—“I am treating him with something not from this world at all.... As Christ was, he [the Patient] is the second. this is one miracle I have seen with my own eyes. 'THE DEAD ARISEN'. The patient involved is MR.Padmalochan Mukherjee of Bally. Even DR. PROF.L.B. Bannerjee and his senior H.P. DR. Bimal Bhowmik all confirm that 'it is a miracle'. --- [sr. SISTER] G.WOOD,HOLLAND, 19.5.68.''
